so Brainkiller himself wrote me on Facebook and says that he is into the idea of MP helping host the next BK compilation
he wants to know what he needs to do. so i don't really know the whole set up and behind the scenes of putting on a competition, so maybe Lothario or someone with more knowledge might be able to contact BK and discuss?

hmmm, has Lothario been around lately? he usually puts the comps together right? BK wants to know what we need from him and what he needs to do. figure Mr. Loth knows it the best, maybe they can converse with each other on taking this idea further.

Ok, we got Music Playground now, another breed of music producing, much better in my opinion, and I wish I could write/release tracks like you Jesse, so I can join this community on a regular base again. As you might have noticed I've picked up writing a bit again, but I really have to push myself. My life's a total complete train wreck now, so it might spawn some shitty mp3s to upload on here.

It's quite true that I can produce a track fairly quickly. But I need more critisism :p Especially to reach a new level...
And I think that counts for a fair amount of people here...experience can hold you back. I should really adopt the steve jobs way of working, never be satisfied untill it's perfect :)

i like to give criticism, but i tend to be harsh, so i just better hold it to myself.

nah, it's because of your words that I started experimenting on soundesign (results will come later as most of it is just loops).

I think you said that I became a cliche of myself, and the last few years I only recently started doing new stuff

If it's going to be a BK/MP collaboration, it shouldn't just be a 'basic' MP competition - should have it's own page - and could be powered by the MP Competition Engine (TM). It would be cool if Erin' could dish up some cool design for this. It would be great to have it next year - then I could find the time to set it up properly. I'll contact BK and see what he says.
