Don't worry, I don't feel bad :) I didn't really expect anyone to like it because of the difference in style. But as I said, it's a totally different project.
I am looking forward to the reviews, good to hear some feedback on something so totally different ;)
And I see I got a lot of you guys to talk about it, so my mission is done :D

style wise, Necro Dos's track wasn't really my taste.
but on the production and arrangement was really good.
didn't feel to drag to me, flow felt right.

my reviews aren't too in depth, more notes on things i enjoyed.
maybe a little critique here and there.
i'm gonna try and go a little more detailed...
when i have the chance to sit back and fully absorb myself it all.

all in all, lots of good tracks on this one.
100NAMES, Aquila, Grant Lloyd, Laurie Ewen, Lothario, PJ, and Roadkill were some of the standouts for me.

i said it from the start and i'm still saying it...
I love Aquila's track, my fave also.
the opening muffley filtered chugging horns and strings at the start...
just awesome, so perfect...
just that dragged out would be a wicked live intro!

something sinister and brooding to me about them
maybe how trippy and dark the actual animated movie sequence was.
man, old school animated movies were fucking trippy!

i understand it's a heavy sample...
but come on, there's no way to knock it for that!
the additional production and atmosphere really enhances the vibe and the drive of the overall theme.
that 303-esque line really sits nicely with the rest of the melody going on within the main theme and is nicely balanced. gives it a sense of urgency.

all i can say is...
if The Prodigy's "Charly" killed rave?...
then, what the fuck did Aquila just kill???

Good comp! Appreciate all the feedback, sorry I couldn't get to write any reviews myself, was away from computer for few days. Really awesome a lot of you took the time to write considered reviews of the tracks, even my B-side I just entered to get the numbers up!

Some great tracks in here, as usual, and what has been especially nice is to hear some great stuff from new artists. Congrats to Roadkill on the glory award, well deserved :)

This is all the second bar has for me
Action: Download | Read Reviews | Results

... Actually download might be what I wanted. When I first looked on the page, I thought it only listed the winners.. were there only 18 contestants?
Still though, finding previous competition information seems even more confusing to navigate to...

Yeah..this will hopefully improve with the new updates coming up.

You can find all old competition tracks here:

mp/player/?site=0#mplayer

Though they are not available for easy download. And as darkwave said, the present competitions are here: mp/cmp/entrylist.php
